We’ve been working with Choice Hotels for almost a year now, getting under the skin of a brand that is all about its people.

Their hotels are full of character and that comes directly from the teams who run them. Many of the staff have been there for years and are genuinely loved by returning guests. The warmth, humour and care they bring every day is what makes Choice Hotels stand out, and we’ve made that a big part of their social media presence.

The group includes The Cliffs, The Claremont, The Viking, The Keswick and The Patterdale. Each has its own feel, its own following and its own stories to tell. Some are known for entertainment, others for the views or the location. Our job has been to bring all of that to life online.

From the start, they’ve been up for anything when we visit for content days. They’ll dance with 80s props, strike a pose in the restaurant and walk us through their best-kept secrets without missing a beat. It makes a huge difference and means the content we create feels real, relaxed and unmistakably them.

We manage everything across their social media channels, which now have more than 50,000 followers in total. That includes planning, writing, creative, engagement and reporting. We also run paid social campaigns to increase visibility and encourage direct bookings.

From flash offers and entertainment line ups to stories from long standing team members, the content always comes back to people. It is that sense of familiarity and fun that we knew we had to keep front and centre.
